NATURAL LIGHTING INSTALLATION IN TÜPRAŞ BATMAN REFINERY A1 WAREHOUSE
The system installation was successfully completed by installing 44 natural lighting fixtures in Batman TÜPRAŞ Refinery A1 warehouse.
By making maximum use of sunlight, the desired brightness luxury level has been achieved.
This energy efficiency project has improved the working environment and achieved significant savings in energy consumption.
Energy Consumption

Hourly Energy Consumption
100 70-watt bulbs consume 7 kWh of energy per hour. Assuming 5 TL is paid per kWh:
7 kWh×5 TL/kWh=35 TL/hour
Daily and Annual Cost Calculation
Let's assume the bulbs are on for 8 hours per day and used for 250 days per year:
•Daily cost: 35 TL/hour×8 hours=280 TL
•Annual cost: 280 TL×250 = 70,000 TL
•Conclusion:
If natural lighting is used instead of 100 70-watt bulbs, savings of 35 TL per hour, 280 TL per day, and 70,000 TL per year can be achieved.
These calculations may vary depending on the operating time and energy costs of the bulbs, but it is obvious that using natural lighting will provide great advantages in terms of energy and cost.
